57% of Brits experience ‘green guilt’, a term used to describe feeling like we should be doing more to help protect the environment (YouGov, 2022). But why should that burden fall upon consumers’ shoulders? At PurePods we believe change happens when companies commit to bettering the environment.

Here are some things we are doing at PurePods to look after the environment:
1. Reduce unnecesary plastic waste in products
We carefully considered the material choice for PurePods to ensure our water filters are fit for purpose and have a minimal environmental impact.
2. Use recycled and recyclable packaging
If the packaging is going to be thrown away, why waste precious resources? We use cardboard boxes to pack and ship our water filters, which are recyclable.
3. Consider the lifecycle of the product, and always question what could be done better.
That’s how we came up with our PurePods reusable filter. Using the same plastic casing reduces plastic waste by 60% compared to well-known competitors, but with the same great functionality.
4. Be transparent and avoid using jargon!
Customers want to know about the environmental impact of products, but don’t want to be greenwashed or overwhelmed with irrelevant information! We make sure any environmental claims we make are clear and backed up by data.
